How to Book

Please complete the inquiry form in its entirety and submit it. Kindly allow at least 24 hours for a response.

Upon receiving your inquiry, a comprehensive quote will be emailed to you. This quote will encompass the costs for supplies, labor, *delivery, *installation, *breakdown, and *rental fee (*if applicable). After reviewing your quote and discussing any necessary adjustments, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee will be required to secure your event date and procure the necessary supplies for your balloon creations. Please note that your order will not be confirmed, and your date/time may still be available for others to book until the retainer fee is received. The remaining balance is due one week before the event.

Balloon Shortage Alert!

Nationwide, popular balloon colors have been consistently sold out for weeks. Acquiring all necessary balloon colors in various sizes for your arrangements often requires sourcing from multiple suppliers. This entails additional shipping charges, resulting in increased costs for your balloon creations.

To secure your balloon arrangements, it is strongly advised to book as early as possible. Ideally, booking 1-2 months in advance is highly recommended, with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice. Please be aware that rush orders with less than 2 weeks’ notice will incur additional charges. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated during this challenging time.

Quote

In the interest of fairness, I operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once a quote has been issued to you, it remains valid for 72 hours. Your order is considered officially confirmed upon payment of the retainer fee.

Please note that the quote will become void after 72 hours of no response and/or no retainer payment. At that point, your date will become available for someone else to book.

Retainer Fee

Upon receipt of your quote, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your event date and procure the necessary supplies for your balloon creations. Please note that your order will not be confirmed, and your date/time may remain available for others to book until the retainer fee is received. To confirm your order, you must submit the retainer fee within 72 hours of receiving your quote.

The remaining balance is due one week before the event date. In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the retainer fee will not be refunded. However, a credit will be issued, valid for up to one year from the original quote date, which can be applied to any future event.

Delivery Fee

$2 per mile from the 92618 zip code.

This rate will also apply to roundtrip costs for all rental items to be picked up at the end of your event.

Pick-up

The pick-up option is only offered for the following balloon creations:

• SMALL BALLOON BOUQUETS

• NO-MESS GENDER REVEAL BALLOON BOUQUET

• *SELECT MEDIUM BALLOON BOUQUETS

• *SELECT BALLOON MOSAICS

• GRAB & GO BALLOON GARLAND

For Large Balloon Bouquets, the standard delivery fee will apply.

Pick-up is FREE and located in the 92618 area.

If you choose to pick up your Small Balloon Bouquet, No-Mess Gender Reveal Balloon Bouquet, *select Medium Balloon Bouquet, *select Balloon Mosaic, or Grab & Go Balloon Garland, please be aware that Dana Equals Fun Balloons will no longer be liable once the items are in your possession (e.g., if a balloon is popped during transit, etc.). For Medium Balloon Bouquet sizes, I recommend picking up with a vehicle no smaller than a mini SUV with the backseats down to ensure safe transport.

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE: SELECT MEDIUM BALLOON BOUQUETS AND SELECT BALLOON MOSAICS WILL NOT FIT IN A SEDAN-SIZED VEHICLE!
The standard delivery fee will apply if you are unable to pick up your Medium Balloon Bouquet or Balloon Mosaic in a mini SUV or larger.

Before pick-up, kindly ensure that the area in your car is cleared, any sharp objects are stowed away, and the arrangement is kept away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Once the balloon arrangement is in your possession, please handle it with care. These arrangements are crafted with high-quality balloons and have the potential to last for weeks if properly maintained.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice and depending on the market.

Onsite Minimum

For all in-person installations, there is an onsite minimum of $350. This minimum does not include tax and/or delivery fees.

Tax

All bookings will include a 7.75% tax.

Rush Fee

Due to the nationwide balloon shortage, rising costs for gas, and shipping delays, there will be an additional $50 late fee for any rush orders booked less than 2 weeks before the event date. Thank you for your understanding.

Outdoor Installations

Unfortunately, I do not control the weather and balloons do not do well in the heat, wind, rain, hail, and/or snow. Heat expands balloons and cold weather deflates balloons because, well... science. Direct sunlight and extremely hot temperatures will cause balloons to oxidize, expand, and POP!

If possible, I recommend having balloons set up indoors or at least in a shady area, like under a tent, tree, or covered porch. I use the absolute best quality balloons sold on the market, but direct sunlight and wind will oxidize balloons regardless— This means that the balloons will change color, and texture, and have a dull velvety look after 1 hour of direct sunlight/wind exposure.

To give you the best quality balloon creations and for the safety of your guests and myself during the hot summer months, ALL outdoor events from May - September are recommended to be set up in a completely shaded area. Although I know every trick in the book to help prevent your balloons from popping, it still does not stand a chance against the 100+ degree SoCal summer weather!

With that being said, if you still decide to showcase your balloon arrangements in direct sunlight, Dana Equals Fun Balloons will not be liable for balloons once they are out of my care, and cannot guarantee balloons will last once they have been set up.

In addition, the retainer will not be refunded if your event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and/or inclement weather. However, a credit will be issued which can be applied to any future event for up to one year of the original quote date.

F.A.Q.: If I buy an Amazon balloon kit will you set it up for me?

Sorry (not sorry), but no!

The majority of balloon kits available on Amazon often feature poor-quality balloons infused with harsh chemicals. Additionally, the showcased outcome in their advertisements tends to be unrealistic or comprised of stolen images from genuine balloon artists.

In contrast, I take pride in exclusively using the highest-quality latex balloons available. Brands such as Sempertex, Kalisan, and Tuftex prioritize natural rubber latex and are 100% biodegradable. These balloons are coated with a special glue that enhances their lifespan, ranging from 18 to 48 hours, and sometimes even longer. Depending on the conditions they are kept in, balloon installations can endure anywhere from one day to three months.

LATEX BALLOON WARNING

CHOKING HAZARD.

Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required. Keep uninflated balloons from children. Discard broken balloons at once.

LATEX ALLERGY

Allergic reactions to latex may be serious and can very rarely be fatal. If you have a latex allergy you should limit or avoid future exposure to latex products.

Latex allergy symptoms may include hives, itching, and a stuffy or runny nose. It can cause asthma symptoms of wheezing, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. Symptoms begin within minutes after exposure to latex-containing products. The most severe latex allergy can result in anaphylaxis, a serious allergic reaction involving severe breathing difficulty and/or a fall in blood pressure (shock). Allergic skin problems can occur following direct contact with allergic latex proteins in latex balloons. Symptoms may include immediate itching, redness, and swelling of the skin that touched the item containing latex.
